Claudia Tobar
Claudia’s journey as a make-up artist began at an early age when she and her sister experimented on each other’s make-up and created their own photo shoots. This is when the art of make-up planted a seed that has spurred Claudia to endlessly search for knew forms of expression with make-up. She began training in Los Angeles as an esthetician at the Dermal Institute in Torrence, California. Her training continued at Odyssey Medi Spa, Marina Del Rey, California. Here she was trained by a dermatologist and had the privilege of working with celebrities. Her experience and training at the Dermal Institute, as well as her training and hands on work with a dermatologist, gives Claudia the foundational knowledge of preparing and maintaining skin to exhibit radiance, health and natural glow.

In her career, Claudia has trained with Mac Pro Cosmetics, (a division of Mac Make-up that caters to licensed professionals only), The Make-up Institute of San Diego California and Motives Cosmetics. Her skills as a make-up artist have led to participating in many fashion shows and international travel, along with celebrity makeup including Niki Taylor.

Presently Claudia refines her skills by exploring the fashions of make-up by producing her own photo shoots and fashion events that cater to the study of the most cutting edge styles. Her goal is to enhance the natural beauty of her subjects using modern techniques. Claudia Tobar’s foundational knowledge of skin, coupled with her creativity in the art of make-up, insures a striking, yet natural, finished product.
